Flares, Dizziness, Sun

I have been diagnosed with 5 autoimmune disorders, with test and 2 medical specialist, for 14 years. I have SLE Lupus involving heart, lungs, and discord skin lupus, Celiac, Hypo-thyroidism, Gerd with hiatial hernia, RA and Osteoarthritis, I am not complaining just doing the day by day life of a chronic disorder person, taking care of me. I retired at 63 yrs old and now 10 years later I have had to learn a lot with the help of a great specialist I found 12 years ago. My best decision was live a zen life style, very peaceful, no drama. Anything that can help me keep from stressing, I embrace, even if I become a home body very happy alone at home.
My symptoms come and go...but the one I cannot seem to manage is nausea and dizziness. I have passed out in different places. I feel this may be from my pulmonary stenosis, my artery is narrow and crooked, so air is force into my heart. I also have photo-sensitivity and with discord lupus, I am allergic to the sun so outside is where I will usually pass out. But it is now happening inside my home. I can sit or stand leaning or touching a hard sturdy surface until it passes. Does this relate to anyone and what do you do when it happens?

Juggling multiple chronic conditions is no easy task.
I commend you on your wonderful perspective and diligent efforts to live a stress-free/peaceful life.
I'm sorry to hear you are dealing with nausea and dizziness that has been difficult to manage. Many times, this could be related to treatment/medications. However, it could be something concerning. If you haven't yet, I would bring this to your healthcare provider's attention.
Hopefully others will chime in here with their personal experiences. In the meantime, I'm sharing this article that may provide some helpful information: https://lupus.net/central-nervous-system

  2. Thank you so much, we have got to push how important it is to take care of self first. I can do the quiet, zen living now and put my heath higher on my list . Between 2021 to 2023, I faced the death of my husband and 2 sisters. It was a very difficult time and my body responded to my anxiety and stress negatively. I found out just how important it is to be positive and grateville than not.

I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband and 2 sisters.
My heart goes out to you.
It sounds like your resilience has helped you get to where you are today: both spiritually and mentally. We all need to take note of the importance of self-care.
