I like the phrase, "protecting your peace". I'm going to keep it at the front of my mind over the next week!
I don't have a good tip to share, but I will say that my pain levels are high enough that I simply don't have the desire to do much other than spend time with my husband and sons. It's not something I would wish on others, but I'm going to appreciate any upside to the situation. -Ava, lupus.net team

sometimes all it takes is the time with yiyr immediate family to calm the mind. Holding space for you to find peaceful moments through it all. ~Racquel~ lupus.net team member

, oh, goodness. Like you need more health issues to deal with at eighty, right?
However, I like that you find praying and singing as good ways to protect your peace.
Twenty ninth annotation with an experienced Jesuit priest or spiritual director has helped me tremendously.
