Hydrochlorothiazide

I was not able to find any conversations on this site about Hydrochlorothiazide. That said, some quick research shows that it can potentially exacerbate Lupus symptoms. It can also be used to help with kidney issues related to Lupus, but again, for some individuals, it backfires and can make some Lupus symptoms worse. I did find some research and medical articles on this topic, which I would be happy to link for you. But, frankly, they are some heavy reads and I think the long and short of it is that, "Yes, Hydrochlorothiazide can help with Lupus related kidney issues and yes, Hydrochlorothiazide can make Lupus issues worse."
