Disbelief
It's hard to have lupus and not look "sick". I never got the face rash and for a long time I had a difficulty with getting others, physicians included, to look for something to explain my symptoms.
The symptoms and severity of lupus can vary widely from person to person.
Many of the symptoms of lupus can be vague and non-specific, making it hard to not only get an accurate diagnosis, but the proper care as well. Almost all people with lupus experience joint pain and extreme fatigue (tiredness). However, other symptoms can be greatly different for each individual. ~Doreen (Team Member)
