"Hey guys. I am new to this experience. Symptoms of severe pain in aide of face were ignored by me for months. I am now so run down I am actually scared. OK today is day 3 of being active. Sores in the mouth for 3 days now. I am laying in bed not able move. I have ice packs on my legs and shoulders. I actually feel like I was run over. I am not in treatment yet so I am looking for some light at the end of title. I am strong as far as pain. It is KICKING MY ASS....lol"

! First off, I am so sorry you are feeling, well, like you've been run over. Lupus doesn't take kindly to being ignored, does it? But, I understand you are very limited as to what you can do, since you're not even in treatment yet! I mean, your options are pretty slim. Do you know when you will be starting treatment? It sounds like you are doing what you can to manage your symptoms and that's good. There are some things you can do to help with the mouth sores, but I have to tell you that it's best to run any treatments by your physician first, just to be safe.
