Do you wear a medical alert bracelet?
Do you wear a medical alert bracelet for lupus or any other comorbid conditions? Has it ever come in handy or helped you get the care you needed in an emergency situation? Do you wear it all of the time or only in specific situations?
I wear mine any time I'm working in the garage, outside, or when I leave my house. I know I should wear it in the house too, but it is cumbersome there. I have the largest surface area & I write not only my allergies, but my major Dx's and the four Rx I take. I'm leaving nothing to chance. It sits on my front hall table while in the house.
