Diagnosis

I am newly diving in to the possible diagnosis of Lupus. I have MANY correlating and debilitating symptoms. My pcp has ordered lab work and it is pending. I have requested a referral to rheumatology regardless of results because I know labs can be normal and you can still have lupus. However she is refusing stating that they will not see a patient with normal lab work. Has anyone had the issue and do you have any advice?

Thank you all!

That's frustrating. Regardless of your test results, you should be able to see a specialist to help you find answers.
You know your body better than anyone. If you fee like something is wrong, do not stop advocating for yourself.
In the meantime, I'm sharing a few articles that may provide some helpful information: https://lupus.net/tests and https://lupus.net/diagnostic-criteria.
I wish you all the best as you continue to search for answers.
