Nausea

I was diagnosed with Lupus in 1998,but I have been very nauseous for the past 2 weeks. Does anyone know what it could be

  1. Hi, !

Apologies for the delayed response! I am sorry you have been experiencing nausea recently. If you haven't done so already, I would definitely talk to your doctor about the nausea. Lupus can cause inflammation of the stomach, even after all these years, along with other digestive issues (you can read more about those issues here -- https://lupus.net/living/digestive-system). Also, some of the medications used to treat Lupus symptoms can cause gastrointestinal issues. So, finding the culprit may take a little trial and error. That said, I hope by the time you're reading this, the nausea has passed.

    1. Thank you. I did see the doctor. I had a tapeworm and passed it. I feel so much better. I was terrified when I saw it. Thank you again
