Lupus causing Pericarditis; attacking the heart area
Anyone dealing with Lupus that has attached the heart area resulting in pericarditis or pericardial effusion? While my condition is currently under control, I am trying to relate to others about flares associated with Lupus when it is in your chest vs extreme join pain.

Pericarditis is the most common heart problem in people with lupus.
From what I understand, pericarditis chest pain is usually worse when lying down versus sitting up.
