First Rheumatology appointment

Hi everyone!

I have my first Rheumatology appointment tomorrow- I had to wait over a year for this- so it been a long wait- (Canada universal medical 😉).

I am trying to prepare myself as much as possible. I created a detailed list of symptoms- both that seems directly connected, and some more undirect issues.

I am not really sure what questions to ask-- I am hoping the appointment will bring some clarity- but if you have any suggestions, I'd appreciate it!

Also, should I have lower expectations in terms of getting any answers- as the first appointment is more investigative in nature?

Thanks,

Jodi

  1. Hi , Thanks for sharing with us! I hope you are able to get some clarity at your appointment! The first appointment will differ to a degree based on your doctor, but most of the time, the doctor will be asking you questions about the symptoms you have been experiencing and work with you to work on creating a treatment plan.
