Does anyone suffer with abdominal symptoms with their lupus I have been exhausted for 4 weeks. Having a CT scan tomorrow and bloods normal except ESR raised and Haemoglobin

Hi,
First off, I hope the CT scan goes smoothly and that you and your doctor get some clear answers as to what's going on.
Also, gastrointestinal issues are not uncommon with Lupus and I hope other community members see your post and chime in here. In the meantime, here's some info on Lupus and gastro issues -- https://lupus.net/gastrointestinal-system. I also wanted to share a couple of pieces written by our health leaders on this topic that you might find relatable -- https://lupus.net/living/digestive-system and -- https://lupus.net/living/digestive-symptoms. Some individuals with Lupus will also be diagnosed with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) or IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease). And, one last thing to consider (though I bet you and your doctor may have already done so) is that some medications used to treat Lupus can cause digestive issues. Again, I hope your issue can be discovered and treated, so you can get some relief.
Please keep us posted, if you feel comfortable doing so.
Best, Erin, Team Member.

Im trying to get a job- I can't stand not doing anything🙁

The lack of structure/routine can certainly take its toll both emotionally and mentally. While you are looking for a job that might be the "right fit" for you, you may want to consider taking a few small steps to improve your mindset. Perhaps journaling, light exercise, or maybe even even take up a new craft or hobby?
In the meantime, I wish you all the best with the job search! ~Doreen (Team Member)
