A Spider Bite Sent Me to the ER
I woke up on Saturday morning with what I thought was an insect bite on my back and a small rash on my right arm.
Immune system in overdrive
Traveling home from work around 1pm on Saturday, I started experiencing difficulties breathing, and so I headed to the nearest clinic where I collapsed and was rushed to Hospital. The conclusion, the Spider bite caused my compromised immune system to go into overdrive which caused my blood pressure to shoot sky high dislodging a blood clot and a massive stroke. After 24 hours in High Care, I am now recovering in a Medical Ward. Not a typical weekend, but I will not forget it.
