  1. , Thanks for reaching out. The diagnosis process can be long and complex, especially when it comes to lupus. While we cannot diagnose you from this information alone, the symptoms you listed are certainly experienced by many people living with lupus. We have some information about the swollen lymph nodes (https://lupus.net/symptoms/swollen-lymph-nodes), mouth ulcers (https://lupus.net/symptoms/ulcers), fatigue (https://lupus.net/living/fatigue), joint pain (https://lupus.net/symptoms/joint-pain), headaches (https://lupus.net/living/headaches) and generally how other community members have described the "crummy" feeling (https://lupus.net/living/pain-feels-like). I hope some of this is helpful and that you are able to get some clarity from your doctors soon!

    1. sorry you are having these issues. I hope you are able to get some answers and some relief soon. lupus is so unpredictable and varies from person to person. It’s definitely something to talk with the doctor about. Good luck thanks for sharing. ~Racquel~ lupus.net team member

      1. I'm now reading some great article what is causing lupus. That article says that vaste majority of autoimmune diseases is caused by leaky gut. That said, my plan is to get 30 day diet to eat only boiled rise + carrot as my stool is total trash and I realized it just now.

Try it. For 1 month, I remember when I had diarrhea when I was younger, my mom just boiled a rise and it was good. So why not try this for a month? What if the gut is the problem? So easy to test.. yes it's not the best food in the world BUT

        1. Yes rise is starchy food but just reading -

Starchy foods are often associated with weight gain and diabetes. However, it is important to understand that resistant starches are the ones that resist digestive process and reach straight to the colon, providing gut with good bacteria.

I believe this will make so many people dissease-free after 1 to 3 months. Then, make the alergy test for foods as well so you can avoid those that would trigger the issues

        2. , Food and nutrition can make a big difference when it comes to lupus or any autoimmune condition. Thanks for sharing!

      2. Update: I'm starting to realize I have lupus myocarditis after all of that research. Not yet diagnosed as I'm still waiting for the confirmation. But all is too pefect to not be it.

I had 3 heart attacks, and last time all symptoms were aligned with congestive heart failure.

Good news - I started a water fasting. Yesteray (just 17 hours ago) and I feel better on the heart. My goal is to do 3 days a week water fast (Fri, Sat, Sun), every week 4x a month.

Prolonged fasting produces ketones, which reduces inflammation for the heart and autoimmune disseases.

Don't believe? Check it out -

Other than that, I will do keto diet (I didn't really want to) but let's try!

        1. , I'm glad you found something that is working for you. Most of these youtube videos are focused on heart failure, which may not be relevant for all folks managing lupus. No two lupus journies are exactly the same, so everyone's treatment plan is unique to them. For other reading, be sure to check in with your doctor before making major changes to your treatment plan. Thanks so much for sharing your experience with us. Good luck as you continue to integrate this plan into your routine. I hope you continue to see positive results!
