Have you learned anything new about lupus that you didn’t know this lupus awareness month? Is there anything you have learned on your lupus journey that has surprised you?
I've learned to accept, even without my diagnosis being finished, that my rheumatologist was right. What I have does sound like Lupus and I'm going to have to be strong but I'll have support.

acceptance is always good and helps to cope with it all. I know whatever your outcome you will be okay and deal with it with strength and resilience. ~Racquel~ lupus team member

A flare can last months, or even years

, thanks for sharing this! It's kind of a bummer, but yes, flares can definitely last for a very long time.
If someone told me that the neurological and fatigue issues I tried to discuss with doctors (who dismissed them for years) were really beginning signs of lupus, I wouldn't have believed it. I thought lupus was about kidneys and arthritis-like stuff.

, I hear you! I had no clue about the cognitive effects of Lupus, either. I thought it was mostly about joints and butterfly rashes and the like.
That other health problems start to stack up against you also.

, Lupus does seem to bring along complications in so many other parts of the body. We hear you! Managing lupus plus other conditions can feel so overwhelming at times. I hope there is some comfort in knowing that you are not alone.
