Protecting Your Peace

The holidays have rolled in and the stress level can be high. So you have any tips to protect your peace and not stress during the holiday season?

One tip I have is to make sure you take breaks.

  1. I like the phrase, "protecting your peace". I'm going to keep it at the front of my mind over the next week!

I don't have a good tip to share, but I will say that my pain levels are high enough that I simply don't have the desire to do much other than spend time with my husband and sons. It's not something I would wish on others, but I'm going to appreciate any upside to the situation. -Ava, lupus.net team

    1. sometimes all it takes is the time with yiyr immediate family to calm the mind. Holding space for you to find peaceful moments through it all. ~Racquel~ lupus.net team member

  2. Singing or praying. Works for me..
Im 80 yrs old, and they diagnosed lupus last September..along with Rheumatoid

    1. , oh, goodness. Like you need more health issues to deal with at eighty, right?

However, I like that you find praying and singing as good ways to protect your peace.

      Thanks for sharing!

  3. Twenty ninth annotation with an experienced Jesuit priest or spiritual director has helped me tremendously.
Adoration in front of the Blessed Sacrament
    Contemplation
    Centering prayers
