We lost both mother with Lupus how do you cope?

  1. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. Grief is complicated. One of our patient leaders recently wrote an article about her experience coping with the loss of a loved one while managing lupus: https://lupus.net/living/coping-with-grief Grief is a personal journey for everyone. There is no one "right" way to grieve. Surround yourself with people who can support you on especially hard days. Be gentle with yourself.

    1. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Grief is such a journey that can be up and down. It’s so hard to say one thing that will help you cope. I can say In My own experience I have had to feel the grief and work through it through speaking about it with a professional. I really have had to release those feelings and work to develop skills that help me honor those who are gone while still staying true to living a life they would be proud of. I know it’s hard so I’m holding space for you and your family to find strength and comfort in your memories and love. ~Racquel~ lupus.net team member
