Red Light Therapy

I was wondering if anyone on here has tried the Red Light Therapy. I have but then I also react to the sun so I didn't know if the Red Light could cause more harm than good.

  1. Hi, !

First, I know I just responded to another post of yours, but I promise I am not the only moderator here!

I couldn't find any information in this community on red light therapy, but I wanted to share a recent post from one of our sister sites on this topic. It's from our RA site (another autoimmune condition), so the information should be valid for Lupus as well. But, as you mentioned, the light/sun sensitivity that comes with Lupus *is* different than RA, so please check with your doctor before pursuing any new treatment. https://rheumatoidarthritis.net/forums/red-light-therapy. I hope this information is useful for you!

    1. I have tried it but was instantly thrown into a flare 🙄my body can be weird like that. It may have been a reaction to medication too. ~Racquel~ team Member
