Planquenil allergy?

While Plaquenil (Hydroxychloroquine) can cause eye issues, I am not sure if itchy eyes is a more common side effect. That said, if you have any concerns about your eye health, please don't hesitate to keep your doctor informed. As far as Imuran, a few of our community members and contributors have used it and it has worked great for some and not as well for others (like pretty much any treatment for Lupus!). Things to keep in mind would be that since Imuran is an immunosuppressant, it can make you more susceptible to illnesses, so you will want to be extra vigilant about safeguarding your health, especially as we head into cold and flu season. I have not experienced this with plaquenil but I have with other medications. Maybe it was an allergic reaction. I hope that you were able to get some relief and have found out what the issue was. ~Racquel~ Team Member
