Anyone have luck getting jobs in Africa with lupus?

Got diagnosed with lupus in 2019 which got me kicked out of the military after 25 years of service (not all active); I also have spent over 6 years in Aftica as a private military contractor including 6 months after lupus and 4b months after having a stroke. I love working in Africa but the military contracts have dried up so I was wondering if anyone with lupus had any luck getting a job with an NGO or DoS in Africa and recommendations to doing so?

  1. Hi, ! I'm sorry your diagnosis abruptly ended your military career. For lack of a more polished was of stating it; that wasn't cool of them.

I am not going to be of any help in regards to finding employment in Africa. We do have at least one community member living in South Africa, but I know the continent is a big, big place and won't try to pretend I have any clue how to go about finding employment opportunities there.

I hope someone here has some good tips or leads for you!
