Possible lupus

I’m sorry but I just do not see the butterfly. Am I just blind or am I just in disbeliefFace with no makeup

  1. , Dealing with a new diagnosis is incredibly challenging and is inevitably going to bring along with it complex feelings of disbelief and grief. We hear you. The butterfly wings of the malar rash are represented as it spreads on the cheeks. It represents the strength of lupus warriors as they change and adapt to the challenges lupus throws at them. Know that you are not alone. We are a tribe here to support you along this journey. Sending gentle hugs,

    1. the rash comes and looks so different for me every time. My rash presents similar to what you have shown in your photo. The top usually comes after the cheeks and chin heal. I can understand being in disbelief because it is such a hard pill to swallow when lupus is our diagnosis. Sending you gentle hugs and hoping that the rash clears up some. Were you in the sun at all? That can also have an effect on your skin. ~Racquel~ lupus team member
