Plaquenil
Should a Lupus patient be taken off of Plaquenil entirely just because of no complaints or bad blood work? My Rheumatologist recently decided to stop prescribing Plaquenil (200 mg once a day) because I had been on it for 15 yrs and for the past 2 visits, I didn't have a complaint or any swelling. Now I am flying without a parachute so to speak. Is there anybody out there that has this happen to them? I am considering changing Rheumatologists because of his lack of caring. He seems so complacent. Or is 15 yrs on Plaquenil too long.
wow I haven't had this happen . I do know that Plaquenil can cause eye issues, is that the case with you?
It seems to be a new thing for some doctors lately to see good labs and either undiagnose lupus, or try and change medication.
