Continuous Crying (Lupus or Dolquine??)

Ever since I was diagnosed with Lupus and put on Dolquine, I seem to be crying non stop, am easily overwhelmed and very very sad and anxious. Unsure if it's the side of the news or the drug. Its been 6 weeks now. I know that the medication takes a while to "kick" i'm but unsure if side effects start immediately. I read that i can cause mood issues. Would really appreciate your feedback on this! Thank you!

    Thanks for reaching out.
Adjusting to a lupus diagnosis can certainly lead to feelings of depression.
In addition, certain medications used to treat lupus can also cause depression.
