Flawed with Lupus๐
I was diagnosed almost five years ago. My life changed slowly but surely.
Searching for the right treatment
I had chronic infections, unexplained body pain, and abnormal labs. After my Lupus diagnosis, my treatments were meds, which mostly didn't work. The meds were changed constantly until I was put on IV treatment ๐. It works well, but the side effects are terrible.
Learning to embrace change
Now, my favorite color is purple ๐. I have a permanent dark mark on my right leg. It doesn't look like a butterfly, but it's a part of me. I call it my free tattoo ๐. I've learned to embrace my new flaws, take better care of myself with relaxing bubble baths, eating healthier, and eliminating stress. It's okay to say NO!
