Flawed with Lupus๐Ÿ’œ

Last updated: June 2023

I was diagnosed almost five years ago. My life changed slowly but surely.

Searching for the right treatment

I had chronic infections, unexplained body pain, and abnormal labs. After my Lupus diagnosis, my treatments were meds, which mostly didn't work. The meds were changed constantly until I was put on IV treatment ๐Ÿ™ƒ. It works well, but the side effects are terrible.

Learning to embrace change

Now, my favorite color is purple ๐Ÿ’œ. I have a permanent dark mark on my right leg. It doesn't look like a butterfly, but it's a part of me. I call it my free tattoo ๐Ÿ˜. I've learned to embrace my new flaws, take better care of myself with relaxing bubble baths, eating healthier, and eliminating stress. It's okay to say NO!
