Gifts for Someone Newly Diagnosed With Lupus
We celebrate birthdays, weddings, and baby showers with gifts. But why is it less common to give a gift to someone when they're going through a divorce, have lost a loved one, or were diagnosed with an illness?
Gifts for someone newly diagnosed with lupus
My friend was recently diagnosed with lupus. She already has a different autoimmune disease and food allergies, and she was devasted after being diagnosed with another debilitating health condition. To cheer her up, I got her a few things I hope she'll like. Due to her food allergies, I didn't include anything edible. I intend to wrap each gift so she can open them one at a time when she feels down.
Let's normalize giving gifts to friends and family to celebrate milestones and show our support when they're going through tough times.
