Smoldering Myeloma, MGUS and Lupus

I've had SLE lupus since 1999 and received the news that I have MGUS (monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance) on 6/6/2017.

Realizing I'm not alone

When I read your feature story, I was glad to read the article and know other lupus patients that are dealing with this too. I thought it was just me. I'm still trying to understand how lupus and myeloma are connected. I do know that with each challenge that comes my way I will continue to fight. Just like the song says by Kelly Clarkson (What doesn't kill you makes you stronger). So, for all of us dealing with some types of disease do not give up. Keep fighting in hopes of winning the war.
