She would just lay on the floor and cry! As a mother, it would crush me that I couldn't take her pain away!
Now, I have been diagnosed with lupus at the age of 54! I've had the symptoms for many years, but was just diagnosed this year!

Lupus is a different kind of pain that is really hard to put into words! You can tell every weather change and the energy is just sucked out of your body!
Understanding lupus
I never understood what my daughter was going through! I feel really bad that I couldn't understand her pain! Sometimes I didn't give her the attention she needed and deserved! Neither of us look sick, so people don't understand!
