Life’s Unpredictable Days
Last updated: May 2023
I was diagnosed in 2000 with SLE lupus. I had butterfly patches on my face but eventually they disappeared. I’m always exhausted tired and drained out. 😩
I’m a caregiver taking care my 93-year-old client who has more energy than me sometimes. But, I love my job. I find that it gets better if I stick to a healthy diet. I love my spinach salads with chicken, and shakes with flaxseed. But when it rains it pours. It’s like my body aches all over. 😩 Well, life must go on, and I’m thankful to be alive and to be with my family to enjoy another day.
How are you most likely to respond when someone offers you unsolicited advice about your lupus?
