Lupus Symptoms Worsening

I essentially have had lupus for 42 years.

My history of pregnancy complications

I was 30, pregnant with my youngest daughter when they first questioned systemic lupus due to 2 daughters born 10 weeks early in 1975 + 6 weeks early in 1979 with a miscarriage in 1978.

Finally getting my diagnosis

It was not until June 2008 that I was definitely diagnosed, as I had many bouts of Plerisy. (I never did tobacco in any form) Fast forward to 2021, my systemic lupus symptoms occur every day.

My endless battle with lupus plus

Plaquenil stopped working a year ago + was stopped by my rheumatologist and I. We are hoping after blood work the Imuran, an immunosuppressive med will put me back into remission. So far this disease has affected by lungs, heart, liver and red cells. I also have bad migraines, diabetes 2, fibromyalgia + IBS. I don't know if the lupus caused this, but I was in intensive care for 17 days last February with Covid19 followed by a stroke effecting my entire left side.

Staying hopeful

I take every day as a new hopeful one without pain.
