My Daily Struggles

I started showing signs of the spots right after my son was born in 1995 but didn't get diagnosed to tell 2001 or 2002 when they finally did a biopsy.

Wondering about the future

My struggle in was the fact that everything I read said it was a 10-year disease and I didn't know what was going to happen to my son when I was gone. I met a beautiful lady who also had lupus. She showed me terrible scars that look like she had been burned. She explained all the ups and downs she had to go through to get her diagnosis. Then I started researching and found organizations, like this one, that has helped me.

I still have daily struggles with the RA the came along with my diagnosis. My body seems to be deteriorating quicker than I can keep it put back together. I have gut issues now and thyroid issues. But I thank God each and every day that I wake up and I find new ways to around some of my pains and issues.
