My Long Road to Diagnosis
I started having problems when I was 26 years old.
Years of searching for the right diagnosis
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia finally at 38. Then 6 years later I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis, during this entire time never was I tested for Lupus. The past 2 years my symptoms became more severe so 6 months ago I asked my Rheumatologist to test me for Lupus, I was officially diagnosed then.
Learning where to spend my energy
I work only part-time now, which I'm extremely fortunate that I can now, so most of my energy is spent keeping the house up, which is difficult at times and spending quality time with my grandchildren.
