My Life As a Lupus Warrior

I'm 65, and was diagnosed in 1987 first with discoid lupus erythematosus (DLE). A few years later with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), degenerative bone and muscle disease, fibromyalgia, and arthritis. It goes without saying that it has been a ride.

I have taken the medication, but because prednisone gave me a bad allergic reaction, and scaring, I went natural. I take over the counter meds when needed, but what helps me most is being active. I have been raising some of my grands since 2010, and it was the biggest blessing.
