Feeling Knocked Down by Chronic Pain

For 30 years I lived with pain, chocked it up to my athletics from high school.

Life with chronic pain

Lived on ibuprofen for many years. Went to PCP to get something different because it wasn't working anymore, they sent me for blood work where the diagnosis of SLE Lupus was found PCPs NP sat on it for 14 months. Had to quit my job because I couldn't move. After numerous visits to ERs and other docs I finally get the answer of what my issue is.

Searching for the right treatment

I'm prescribed plaquenil that insurance didn't want to pay for unless my PCP prescribed it. Didn't have one was looking for a new one since I was basically ignored. Had to go back to the quack pot just to get it and wouldn't you know, she has no idea what this medication will do is not comfortable giving me this medication because and I quote "I do not know anything about this medication" but I'll send you to a rheumatologist and they'll know." You're my freaking doctor and you know nothing about this medication wtf.

Anyway no RH appointment no medication aside from 4-5 Tylenol and 2 Aleve a day just to function. Feeling less of a human since I can't work, cook, or even bathe myself without help.
