It Could Be Worse
I was dx'd with RA in 1966 & Lupus in 1989. Between then & now, there wasn't much of a difference between symptoms. I never have been able to tell the difference until November of '23. Mother's day that year, is when my worst fears were realized. Six months later, I'm navigating AVN, avascular necrosis, of my left ankle. Mother's Day this year, my right ankle decided it didn't want to be left out. My left ankle replacement surgery is Dec 11th. My Humana insurance expires Dec 31st & I'm worried about the future of S.S.I & Medicare. I'm just grateful because it could always be worse.
