Is it Lyme Disease or Lupus?

Hello I’m 29 years old I was diagnosed with lupus when I was 22.

Everything changed overnight

I’ve been healthy my childhood and teen life, I played basketball my high school year and never felt sick. I’ve always felt fine until one morning I woke up with an extremely painful headache. The following day my lymph nodes swelled up behind my ears and in my throat yet I still had this headache. For days the headache persisted my weight dropped and I couldn’t move my arms or legs.

"Lupus, not lyme..."

As I went to many doctors to search on the issue no doctor had an answer except one doctor who randomly tested me for lupus. As she tells me “hey I want to try a test, because of your ethnicity, I might have an answer” as I laugh I said okay and she tests me. After an hour I leave the doctors and I get a call back from my doctor and she says “you have lupus” I laugh and said “I never been bite by a tic?". The doctor proceeds to tell me “no not Lyme disease lupus, I think you should come back in and we should talk”.

As I rush to the doctors to find out what this disease is I googled it and found out what it was.
