Dealing with Lupus, Before I Was Diagnosed
When I was born, my mother had no idea that I had Lupus; After 3 to 4 Hospital stays for Pneumonia, we continued to search for answers. It was not until my 47th birthday that I found a Neurologist who diagnosed me with APS, Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome. A rare disease that involves Lupus, and makes blood clots prevalent throughout the body, and has given me a need to be on blood thinners through out my life.
