Another Lupus Skin Flare?

I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus erythematosus in January this year. Since then I've had better days and worse days.

Skin flare-ups

Lately, my skin has been so itchy. When I scratch it, I develop red small patches that look like I was bitten by insects. That was not enough though -- we had a sports day at work on a nice sunny day in an open field. Later that evening I got punished for my sins. It felt like the switch to my body thermostat was broken. My body absorbed all that heat from the sun, and it did not know what to do with it. My skin felt hot as if I had a fever, but I was shivering as if it was freezing cold in my bed. I wasn't sweating. I spent my whole weekend in bed fully covered to help recover from all that.

Living with Lupus is no child's play. Lots of love
